The Department of Tourism uploaded a video of The Aguinaldo Shrine when it came to life on the eve of the Philippine Independence Day. The historical 18th century mansion of the first Philippine President Emilio Aguinaldo illuminated with a vibrant light show that night through a “projection mapping,” similar to the 3D mapping on the facade of The Venetian in Macau.
The 20-minute light show featured historical events in Philippine history and popular tourist destinations in the country. The video mapping show ran 3 times nightly from June 11 to 15, 2015 and there are clamors to do this every weekend to invite more tourists to visit the Aguinaldo Shrine in Kawit, Cavite.
